Highly reliable operation is a matter of course when Grundfos pumps are used for pumping surface water of any kind – from seawater and river water to rainwater. Our high-efficient multistage pumps have been specifically designed to withstand the abrasive media encountered in the various types of surface water. On top of stainless steel, cast iron and bronze, the range is available in titanium for seawater applications. Shaft seals and impellers have also been carefully designed in order to prolong the life of the pump and avoid corrosion.
If the surface water is to be treated, Grundfos offers a wide range of disinfection systems and mechanical and digital dosing pumps that will efficiently support the chemical and microbiological processes in reaching the exact quality required.
