Grundfos Pumps have just released details of their latest investment that supports their ambitious strategic development strategy for the Americas.
Having recently celebrated their 40th anniversary in the US, Grundfos, with the inauguration of a new headquarters in Chicago, continue to signal their clear intent to continue to invest in North America as part of their on-going global growth. The Chicago region was selected because of its proximity to the newly resurgent manufacturing sector as well as this areas emergence as a hub for the water industry.
With a stated ambition to increase sales in the US to $1 billion by 2017, Grundfos are now well positioned to maximise market share across the US.
Also in April a new sales company opened its doors in South America. The company, which is based in Columbia, carries on the Grundfos tradition of opening offices close to where customer demand exists. Grundfos Group Executive Lars Aagaard succinctly summed up this event as “an ambitious project, for a company with big ambitions”.
With so much internal investment in their future, Grundfos Pumps are clearly recognising the challenges and growth potential that exists in both North and South America as being key factors in building even greater success for this now truly global pump giant.
